I have been responsible for the network development of an entire department
within a much larger organization for more than 20 years.  In that time, I've
been exposed to most of the data communication technologies that achieved
popularity.  I have extensive experience designing, building, and securing 
Ethernet networks, both large and small.  I'm also quite familiar with the 
process of working with inter-agency staff, Internet service providers, and 
product vendors to solve problems.  In addition, I have been responsible for
maximizing the availability of a variety of mission-critical Internet 
services, including websites and network databases.
